The Coppell Farmers Market is hosting the third annual Farm to Table Dinner to honor the face and place of local food.  The focus is to showcase the Coppell Farmers Market farmers and producers’ freshest ingredients in a one-of-a-kind culinary experience on June 8th.  The evening event will begin at the Coppell Community Garden, parent non-profit organization, with a 6 pm garden tour and appetizers.  Just down the road, in Coppell, at Grapevine Springs Park, guests will be treated to a 7pm outdoor dinner prepared by the chefs and culinary students at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Dallas and Le Cordon Bleu.  Six-courses served at one long table will be paired with locally crafted wine or ale and will spotlight the farmer and/or producers, along with light jazz by Coppell pianist, Roland Elbert.

The aim of the Coppell Farmers Market Farm to Table Dinner is to celebrate all who contribute to a local food system, to spotlight farmers and producers, raise awareness of the value of meals based on farm direct markets, and support local food access to all.  Ticket sale proceeds will support the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Lone Star Cards) at the market, along with additional promotion of the Coppell Farmers Market.
